Strengthening water infrastructure throughout Sweden. One project at a time.
Healthy lakes and waterways, reliable wastewater treatment and readiness for tomorrow’s environmental standards. That’s what the residents of Gävle, Kungsbacka, Kristinehamn, Vemdalen and Söråker, Sweden, will get as their municipalities invest in the next generation of water treatment plants.
Our subsidiary ELVA ProcessAutomation AB has been awarded several strategically important contracts within Swedish water and wastewater infrastructure – including new treatment plants in Gävle, Kungsbacka, Vemdalen and Söråker, and a major modernization in Kristinehamn – with a combined order value exceeding SEK 1.2 billion.
The assignments span the full spectrum of ELVA’s expertise: process design, engineering, delivery, commissioning and training. From Gävle’s new Atlasverket to a treatment plant in Vemdalen dimensioned to handle both the permanent population and the seasonal peaks of mountain tourism, each project reflects the growing investments in modernizing Sweden’s critical water infrastructure.
These assignments confirm our ability to take full responsibility in complex water and wastewater projects. Together with our clients, we are building facilities that meet both today’s and tomorrow’s requirements for sustainable water treatment
