ASB VA Automation is expanding its business offer under the name “ASB Systems”, focusing on software, systems and services for operational monitoring and data-driven operations. The new offer involves an expanded service where technology, analysis and support are integrated into a cohesive delivery to municipal water and wastewater operations.
As part of the expansion, the company has recruited eight new specialists in automation and operational monitoring, strengthening the competence and enabling a broader offering to customers in the water sector.
“We see a clear shift where customers are demanding more open and flexible systems, with greater control over their data and their development. With ASB Systems, we are taking a new approach and strengthening our offering in software and operational monitoring, to meet these requirements and be a long-term partner to our customers,” says Filip Palmkvist, CEO of ASB VA automation.

ASB Systems merges the company’s expertise in control systems and automation with expanded opportunities in SCADA, data collection, analysis and support. The offering is designed to give customers better conditions to work more data-driven, improve operational reliability and meet increased demands for cybersecurity.
The investment is in line with Uniwater’s increased focus on automation and digital solutions for water infrastructure. By combining local cutting-edge expertise with the Group’s breadth, the Group strengthens its ability to develop new solutions together with customers. Over the past year, Uniwater has grown through the acquisition of several Nordic specialist companies in governance, control and monitoring, including Norwegian Controlpartner and Danish Wasys.
